Here are the directions using the route planner with Google Maps.
By car
Arrival from Germany:
Via the A 7 or A 95 in Germany towards the South, follow the Fernpassbundesstrasse (B 179) via Imst and Landeck on motorway A 12 in Austria to the S 16 (Arlbergschnellstrasse) to Pians.
Or: On the road A 93 in Germany towards Innsbruck, via the Austrian Inntalautobahn (A 12) via Kufstein, Innsbruck and Landeck to the S 16, the Arlbergschnellstrasse, and on to Pians.
Or: Via the A 96 towards Lindau on to Austria, then follow the A 14, via Bregenz, Feldkirch and through the Arlbergtunnel on the S 16 to Pians.
On the S 16, the Arlbergschnellstrasse, turn off at the exit Pians, continue on the Silvretta Bundesstrasse (B 188) for approximately 20 kilometres towards Ischgl.
Arrival from Italy:
Travel North on the motorway A 22 via the Brenner on the Austrian motorway A 13, in Innsbruck follow the A 12 towards Bregenz and on via the S 16 to Pians.
Or take the SS 40 North via the Reschenpass on the B 180 to Austria, via Nauders and Landeck on the S 16 towards Bregenz and on to Pians.
On the S 16, der Arlbergschnellstrasse, turn off at the exit Pians, continue on the Silvretta Bundesstrasse (B 188) for approximately 20 kilometres towards Ischgl.
Arrival from Switzerland:
Travel to Austria on the A 3 to Feldkirch or the A 1 to Lustenau and Dornbirn. In Austria, take the A 14 towards Innsbruck, then pass through the Arlbergtunnel on the S 16 to Pians where you should follow the Silvretta Bundesstrasse (B 188) for approximately 20 kilometres towards Ischgl.
Please note that a toll sticker is required on Austria’s motorways and highways.
In winter, winter tyres and suitable winter equipment are compulsory for your car to ensure a safe journey. In the case of poor weather, snow chains can be made compulsory.
By train
The closest train station is Landeck-Zams in Tyrol and from here, bus 4240 takes you towards Ischgl and Galtür.
By aeroplane
The closest airport is Innsbruck airport
